Courageous Voyagers, making contribution for a better world

We have entered a unique era often referred to as the 4th World Revolution; a transformed, digital world made possible due to advances in technology, artificial intelligence and innovation. The reliance on convenience, automaticity and accessibility to these changes has drastically altered the way we live, work and connect with each other.

It is our belief that education should provide learners with meaningful opportunities to seek their ‘ikigai’ or purpose in life. In achieving this core aim, we will have facilitated personalised journeys of discovery and memorable experiences of happiness which may help shape the future contributions of each child to strive for peace.

‘I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.’
Louisa May Alcott, “Little Women”

Inspired by this quote, we identify our learners as ‘voyagers’ within the school’s vision. We describe our voyagers as courageous intending for our learners to navigate a life-long journey of learning with compassion, resilience and readiness to explore. First and foremost, we celebrate and reflect on the process of all learning as the greatest achievement.

Our mission extends beyond defining our hopes for students.
Within our school, we value the same motto:
‘Learn together, grow together.’

We recognise the impact of collaboration and mindfulness in learning and embrace opportunities for personal and collective growth across our learning community.

Lastly, to realise this together as a community, students, teachers and parents, we strive to nurture and adopt the traits of the IB Learner Profile in all that we do.
